KIIP 사전평가 모의고사Free KIIP placement test practice
Sit a full-length KIIP mock exam online, for free. The same number of questions and the same time limit as the real test, marked the same way — and in Korean only, exactly as on the day. When you finish, you see your score, which questions you missed with an explanation in your language, and the level you would likely be placed in.
How the real 사전평가 is structured
The pre-evaluation (사전평가) decides which KIIP level you start at. It has a written part and an oral part, scored out of 100 in total.
| Part | Questions | Time | Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| 필기 · Written | 50 (48 객관식 + 2 단답형) | 60 min | 75 |
| 구술 · Oral | 5 | 10 min | 25 |
Score to level
Your total out of 100 places you in a level. A score of 0–2, or an oral score below 3, places you in Level 0.
- Level 00–2
- Level 13–20
- Level 221–40
- Level 341–60
- Level 461–80
- Level 581–100
An app cannot mark the oral part, so the mock exam projects your level from the written score and says so plainly.
Other KIIP exams you can practise
- 중간평가 (mid-term evaluation) — taken after Level 4 to move up to Level 5. The written paper is 28 multiple-choice questions plus 2 short compositions, with a pass mark of 60 out of 100.
- 단계평가 (end-of-level test) — taken at the end of Levels 1 to 4 to move up a level.
- 영주용 종합평가 (KIPRAT) — the comprehensive evaluation after Level 5, for permanent residency, with a pass mark of 60.
Practise the answer sheet too
On exam day nothing you write on the question paper is marked — only the OMR answer sheet counts. A paper can be answered perfectly and still score nothing if the 외국인등록번호 is mis-coded or the paper type (문제지 유형) is left blank. KIIP Hub includes an interactive answer sheet so the day holds no surprises.
